Connex Express: Brighton to London Victoria Drivers Eye View

At the time of filming in 1998, Connex Expresses ran non-stop from Brighton to London with just one intermediate stop at East Croydon. The trains sped through Haywards Heath, Gatwick Airport, and even Clapham Junction, providing passengers with a fast and direct link between the south coast and the capital.

Along the route, viewers are treated to historical context, including the tragic Clayton Tunnel accident, with its house above the castellated tunnel portal, and other stories from the Southern Region.
