Crewe Heritage Centre to remain closed until 2021

2nd August 2020

Statement from Crewe Heritage Centre:

Due to the current pandemic crisis, we have taken the decision to remain temporarily closed for the remainder of our 2020 season.

The world is going through a difficult and uncertain time, and we have all had to take unprecedented steps to deal with the current crisis.

During this period the health and well-being of our visitors and team members, take utmost priority and we therefore followed government advice and closed the museum earlier this year.

We are currently in the process of allowing key team members to return to the museum, taking the opportunity to enhance our attentions and have introduced a stringent hygiene and social distancing policy.

The charity is in a strong financial position and we are currently anticipating that we will reopen in early 2021, we are routinely reviewing the situation and look to open sooner if possible. Our online shop remains unaffected by these measures and every purchase helps to support the Heritage Centre.

The entire Crewe Heritage Centre team wish all our visitors, members and associates and their loved ones well during this time: our hearts go out to those directly and indirectly affected, and we can only hope that this crisis we are all suffering will be mitigated and resolved soon.

Stay Safe,

The Crewe Heritage Centre Team
