Installation If you have downloaded this pack and are already reading this, there is a good chance you have already installed the scenarios because you have already unpackaged the .rar format and revealed the .rwp. If you are still struggling, the included .rwp can be installed using the Package Manager which can be found by using "Utilities.exe" which is located in your Steam \steamapps\common\railworks directory. Alternatively, archiving programs such as WinRar or 7- Zip can open the .rwp file and the scenarios can manually be placed in your TS2015 installation. Please note that if you are uncomfortable with moving these files manually, I take no responsibility for any damage you may cause to your install if the process is not done correctly. Official installation instructions can also be found via the user manuals, located in your install at Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Manuals After installation is complete, the scenarios should then be viewable in the scenario editor via the Single Player/Standard Scenarios option and will be located within the list for the 'South London Network' route. In the case of this scenario pack, all scenarios are prefixed with [DPS-SP11_XX] and numbered accordingly from 1 through to 8. You will then call at all stations en route to Norwood Junction. Overall Scenario Pack Notes Although you should never encounter any static service on a running line, certain stock such as the Class 377 turn off their lights when stopping at a station before turning them back on again when departing, this makes it seem at first glance that the item of stock has just been placed without instruction. Although every attempt has been made to minimise this happening, a route with so many stations and a scenario pack with so many AI movements mean that you may encounter it at some point. Due to the nature of the route, with the network being compact and complex, this means AI movements can be concentrated in small areas and therefore the scenarios can be very resource hungry. If you have previously had difficulties with this route because of your system possibly not being powerful enough to handle it sufficiently, this pack may cause issues for you. Many users may be aware of the 'white hills' issue that affects certain weather patterns in TS2015 at is still currently a problem at the time of writing. Every attempt has been made to choose weather patterns that do not produce this effect, however, in order to also provide variation, it may be present. It should not be overly noticeable due to the topography of the area and the surrounding buildings, and therefore should not impact on your enjoyment when driving these scenarios. Requirements The following stock used has been chosen to try and replicate the correct workings from the real world, where possible. Although the list of required payware is quite extensive, a large proportion of users generally have many of the popular items listed below and I make no apology for the use of these items in order to be as realistic as possible. All scenario packs from DPSimulation are designed to add further enjoyment to what you have already purchased, however, if you don't own some of the items then please note that RWTools offers a facility to 'swap out' any items that you don't have meaning that these scenario packs should be accessible to all in some form. If you do swap out items, you do so at your own risk and DPSimulation cannot be held responsible for the any scenario not working as originally intended because of this process. Things such as a high level domain and server costs do mount up, along with the purchase of the relevant research materials and tools to create our content. We then also then have to purchase the addons we use, in this case to create this scenario pack. Although donations are not mandatory to access our content, they are always welcome, specifically to contribute towards the costs we incur in keeping a free service going, no matter how small. All donations will help support the site and addon growth, and play a large part in providing a free, high speed download service for all. If you are interested in making a donation to DPSimulation, this can be done via Paypal and there are donation buttons at the bottom of some pages on www.dpsimulation.org.uk along with one on the right hand side of the official blog, the address of which is above. Support In the unlikely event that this pack does not function as intended, please contact us via our support address, giving as much detail as possible. http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/contactus.html Credits All scenarios have been created by DPSimulation specifically for this package. Thanks is also given to the team of beta testers, particularly Sean Harris and Richard Fletcher, who work tirelessly to make sure that the content leaves the door in working order. Thanks also Richard Fletcher for the creation of specific repaints for this pack and his allowance for their use in a payware pack to support the DPSimulation website. © DPSimulation 2015
