Apex Rush is a physics-driven arcade racing game developed and published by Thunderboom Studios. It was released in Early Access on 19 February 2026 for Windows via Steam. The title focuses on high-speed competition blended with stunt-based driving, offering players a chance to test their skills across a range of stylised tracks built around momentum, control and precision.

At launch, Apex Rush is available exclusively on PC through Steam in its Early Access form. There have been no confirmed announcements regarding console ports or releases on additional platforms. The current version centres on single-player content, with multiple themed maps and events designed to expand over time as development continues toward a full release.

Gameplay revolves around racing against the clock while mastering drifting mechanics and aerial manoeuvres. Tracks feature steep ramps, tight corners and vertical elements that reward players who can maintain speed and stability through complex layouts. Players can unlock and customise vehicles, and the inclusion of a track editor allows the community to create and share their own circuits, adding replay value beyond the built-in content.

Promotion for Apex Rush has largely focused on gameplay showcases and developer communication through its Steam page. Trailers highlighting the physics system, drifting challenges and track editor were used to demonstrate the core experience ahead of Early Access launch. The developer has maintained an active presence in community discussions, outlining planned updates and encouraging player feedback to shape the direction of development.

As an Early Access release, the game’s review profile is still evolving. Initial Steam user feedback has been mixed, with players praising the sense of speed and creative track design while also offering constructive criticism about handling balance and polish. Ongoing updates and direct engagement from the developer indicate a commitment to refining the experience based on community input.
