The Skyscrapers pack was created by community designer REV0 and published by Paradox Interactive. It launched on 3 December 2025 as a “Creator Pack” add‑on for Cities: Skylines II, and requires ownership of the base game to use its content. The pack is available on PC, the same platform as the base game.

In terms of content, the Skyscrapers pack delivers a set of high-rise buildings intended to reshape and densify a city’s skyline. It adds 15 signature skyscrapers, 2 unique service buildings, 23 building upgrades, and 3 decorative props. The included towers vary in style — from sleek commercial headquarters to sprawling residential high‑rises — and are designed with additional functionality in mind: some come with integrated transit hubs or underground facilities, rooftop observatories, and other features meant to support dense urban districts. With structures reaching up to 600 metres, the pack offers city‑builders a chance to create dramatic downtown skylines and high‑density business or residential corridors.

When the pack was promoted, the developers highlighted its ability to give Cities: Skylines II players a “vertical edge.” Marketing materials emphasized the architectural variety, skyline‑transforming potential, and the pack’s suitability for building modern, cosmopolitan metropolises. The pack was presented alongside another Creator Pack, underlining ambitions to expand not just horizontal sprawl but vertical development as a core aspect of late‑game city building.

As the release is recent, there are not yet many formal reviews available. Early community feedback — from forums and social media — is cautiously positive. Many players are excited about the visual impact and variety the pack brings, praising its ambitious designs and the way it enables more realistic high‑density cities. Others express some reservation: a recurring question revolves around how much gameplay benefit these skyscrapers deliver beyond their aesthetic value (for example, how well they integrate into simulation mechanics like transit, traffic, or services). For now, the Skyscrapers pack appears to be well‑received among players focused on creative city design and skyline aesthetics, though some remain curious to see whether it meaningfully improves simulation depth.
