CURE – A Hospital Simulator was developed and published by Sentinel Games, with its Early Access release on 20 November 2025. Sentinel Games is a newly founded independent studio, and this is their debut title. The game is designed to combine sim-management, medical chaos, and action in a way that feels fresh and high-stakes.

At present, CURE is only available on Windows via Steam, and there are no announced console or mobile ports. The developers have indicated that the Early Access phase is expected to last between 12 and 24 months, during which additional content and systems will be added. No other platform releases have been confirmed at this time.

In the game, players take charge of an emergency hospital during an apocalyptic outbreak. You must diagnose and treat a variety of bizarre and dangerous conditions, manage hospital resources, and build out your facility from the ground up. As events escalate, there is also combat, as the outbreak causes patients to mutate, and players may need to defend themselves and the hospital with weapons. Between the chaos, players can decorate the hospital, customize its layout, and expand with new medical equipment.

A big part of the game’s appeal lies in its streamer and community integration, thanks to a proprietary “ShoutOut Engine.” This system allows Twitch audiences to directly participate in the game, with viewers able to become in-game NPCs and Twitch events triggering in-game effects or alerts. The developers have emphasized community feedback, inviting early players to contribute via Discord and Steam to help shape the development roadmap.

Reception so far has been modest but promising. Because it is newly in Early Access, there are not many user reviews yet, but the concept has drawn attention from simulation fans and streamers for its unusual mix of first-person action, hospital management, and audience interaction. Players have praised the energy and ambition of the game, and many are closely watching how it evolves as additional systems, diagnostic tools, character customization, and more content are added during Early Access.
