Microsoft Flight Simulator no ATC or delayed ATC
The Azure system that controls ATC speech may be experiencing issues due to the amount of users current in-game. Windows Offline Speech can be selected by going to Options>General>Sound and changing the Text-To-Speech setting.
If changing to this setting results in no ATC speech at all, you may need to install a new Text-to-Speech language in Windows 10. Please do the following:
- Select the Start button, then select Settings > Time & Language > Region & Language.
- Select Add a language and choose the language you want from the list. Only languages listed in the table below will have Text-to-Speech capabilities.
- After the new language has been installed (this may take a few moments), select it in the Region & Language list, and then select Options.
- Under Language options > Speech, select Download.
- Restart your computer. The Text-to-Speech voices will be installed when your machine turns back on.

To report a bug with Microsoft Flight Simulator, follow this link and click the Submit a Request button at the top right of the screen. Select "I want to report a small bug or a glitch" in the drop-down menu and follow the flow. You can add screenshots, video clips, or crash logs to your ticket.
Microsoft Flight Simulator install location
When installing via the Microsoft/Xbox store the game will be installed in the Windows app location. By default this is: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\
If you intend to make modifications and add things such as repaints in the future it can be tricky to access this location without the correct rights on your computer and it's therefore recommended to install Microsoft Flight Simulator in a more convenient location during the installation process.
