The DLC Group 5 Revival Pack for Project Motor Racing was developed by Straight4 Studios and published by GIANTS Software. It was released on 25 November 2025 as a downloadable add‑on for the base game. As with other DLC for Project Motor Racing, this pack requires ownership of the main game to function.

The Group 5 Revival Pack brings to life a lineup of five iconic “silhouette‑formula” racing cars from the wild Group 5 era of motorsport, where production road cars were transformed into extreme race machines. The included vehicles are: a 1980 Ford Capri Zakspeed Group 5, a 1982 Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette, a 1979 Porsche 935/80, a 1982 Nissan 280 ZX IMSA GTX, and a 1978 BMW 320 Turbo Group 5. These cars feature dramatic wide‑body aero, flared arches, large wings and aggressive styling — delivering the over‑the‑top speed, noise and flair that defined Group 5.

When the DLC was promoted, it was positioned as “day one” content for Project Motor Racing, part of the game's first wave of additional content under the Year 1 pass structure. Marketing emphasised the pack as a tribute to one of the most unhinged and thrilling eras of racing, promising “fire‑spitting icons” and a visceral, no‑holds‑barred driving experience.
