Tropico 6: Spitter is a downloadable content (DLC) expansion for the city-building and political simulation game Tropico 6. Developed by Limbic Entertainment and published by Kalypso Media, the DLC was released on April 23, 2020. It is the second major DLC for the game, following The Llama of Wall Street, and is available on platforms including Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The Spitter DLC introduces a new social media mechanic, allowing players to interact with celebrities and faction leaders through a fictional short message service called "Spitter." This feature enables El Presidente to increase his standing by engaging with influencers and unlocking new traits. Additionally, the DLC adds three new buildings—the Rehab Center, Beauty Farm, and Super Villa—which help attract celebrities to Tropico and can be used to make them permanent residents. A new mission and sandbox map are also included, providing fresh challenges for players.

Promotion for the Spitter DLC was carried out through digital platforms and official channels. Kalypso Media announced the release on their website and social media platforms, highlighting the new gameplay mechanics and features. The DLC was also featured in newsletters and press releases to inform the Tropico community and attract new players.

Reception to the Spitter DLC has been mixed. Some players appreciated the added depth and complexity introduced by the social media mechanic, enjoying the challenge of managing celebrity interactions and the new buildings. However, others criticized the implementation of the system, feeling that it disrupted the game's balance and detracted from the overall experience. Despite these mixed reviews, the DLC offered a fresh perspective on governance and strategy within the Tropico universe.
