The Zooseum DLC for Two Point Museum was developed by Two Point Studios and published by SEGA. It was released on 2 December 2025 as a paid expansion for Two Point Museum. The base game itself launched earlier in 2025 on PC, and is available on major platforms including PC, macOS, Linux, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and later for Nintendo Switch 2. The DLC follows the game’s existing model of paid content expansions that build on both the core systems and variety of exhibits.

Zooseum introduces a major new thematic direction for the museum simulator: wildlife exhibits and zoological showpieces. Players gain access to a new museum location called Silverbottom Park, a fresh expedition map named Farflung Isles, and over 40 new wildlife exhibits, ranging from habitat animals to terrarium creatures. The DLC also adds a new “Wildlife Expert” staff type, two animal‑focused rooms (Habitat and Wildlife Welfare), interactive displays, new decorative items, gift‑shop merchandise, and themed workshop items. Additionally, Zooseum includes a full five‑star campaign focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing animals, encouraging players to manage animal welfare rather than just static exhibits.

Promotion for Zooseum emphasized how the DLC represents the game’s “biggest and hairiest” expansion yet. Official teasers highlighted the shift from traditional artifacts to living exhibits, inviting players to try dynamic content that includes rescuing wildlife, designing naturalistic habitats, and managing animals’ needs. Ahead of the full release, a free “taster” portion was made available, giving players a preview of Silverbottom Park and the first part of the campaign to build anticipation and allow the community to experience the new mechanics before the full DLC launch.

Early community feedback is generally positive. Many players praise the volume and variety of the new content, including the animal exhibits, interactive displays, gift-shop items, and the overall shift to a more “zoo-like museum” experience. Players appreciate the rescue‑rehab‑release loop and the chance to build habitats rather than static displays. However, some users have noted occasional technical issues, such as slowdowns or menu lag when managing the new animal systems on consoles, which can affect the experience. Overall, Zooseum is welcomed by fans eager for creativity and variety, though its long-term reception will depend on stability and performance across platforms.
