Greater Anglia Teases Exclusive Black Friday Rail Discounts
Greater Anglia is offering rail travellers across East Anglia the chance to cut the cost of their journeys with a limited-time Black Friday promotion. The train operator is urging anyone interested to sign up to its newsletter before midnight on Thursday 27 November to gain access to the deal.
Those who register in time will receive a Black Friday email on Friday 28 November. The message will include a unique PIN, required to unlock discounted fares across selected Greater Anglia routes. The operator is keeping full details under wraps until the email goes out, giving subscribers first access to the savings. Customers are advised to watch their inbox throughout the day to ensure they do not miss the offer.
Martin Moran, Commercial Director at Greater Anglia, said:
“Travelling by train is cheaper than you think, and Greater Anglia’s Black Friday offer means people can travel for even less. There is so much to see and do in our region, and whether it’s a trip to the city or coast, shopping or sightseeing, we are giving people more money to spend on having a great time by helping them save money on their train fare.”
Alongside this one-off promotion, Greater Anglia continues to offer a wide selection of discounted options, including Advance fares that can reduce costs by 60–70% compared to standard walk-up tickets. Passengers can also benefit from 2FOR1 entry to a range of attractions across London and East Anglia.
Year-round savings remain available through GroupSave for groups of three or more, a London evening out fare for travellers staying overnight in the capital, and the Club 50 discount for customers aged 50 and above. The operator continues to recommend booking early to secure the lowest prices. Railcards and other discounts cannot be combined with the Black Friday offer.
