Man Suffers Broken Leg in Violent Clash Outside Falkirk Station
Detectives are urging witnesses to come forward following a serious assault outside Falkirk High railway station that left a man with significant injuries.
The incident occurred at approximately 9.15pm on Saturday 21 March, when the victim was waiting for a taxi outside the station. He was approached by two men, and a confrontation quickly escalated into a violent altercation.
Bystanders were forced to intervene, separating those involved and assisting the injured man. He was left with a broken leg and ankle, while the two suspects fled the area before police could arrive.
Officers believe a number of people may have witnessed the incident or captured key moments on dashcam footage, particularly from taxis operating in the area at the time.
Detective Constable Liam Deasley said:
“We believe there were several taxis that may have recorded the incident or the moments leading up to it on their dashcams, and many members of the public who witnessed the incident. I would urge anyone with footage of the incident, or who witnessed it or intervened, to get in touch to aid in our investigation.”
