Police Appeal Following South Harrow Train Robbery
Detectives probing a robbery on a London Underground service have issued images of a man they want to identify following the incident on the Piccadilly Line in February.
The offence took place at about 4pm on Saturday 7 February, when a teenage passenger was travelling on the train. Officers say a man boarded the service at South Harrow Underground station before approaching the victim.
According to investigators, the suspect indicated that he was carrying a knife, showing what appeared to be a wooden handle sticking out from his waistband. He then demanded the teenager’s mobile phone.
British Transport Police believe the individual pictured may be able to assist with their enquiries and are urging members of the public to come forward if they recognise him.
