Police appeal to identify man after incident at Edinburgh Waverley
British Transport Police have launched an appeal to trace a man they believe could help with enquiries into an incident at Edinburgh Waverley railway station.
Officers say the incident occurred on Sunday 14 September 2025, sometime between 9.30pm and 10.30pm. As part of their investigation, police are seeking to identify a male who was present in the station during that window.
The man is described as white, bald, and wearing grey trousers along with a black jacket. He was also carrying a black backpack and wearing a black North Face baseball cap, as well as a clear poncho.
Police believe the individual may have information that could assist their investigation and are urging anyone who recognises the description to come forward.
