Police Release Image After Knifepoint Robbery at Beckton DLR Station

Police investigating a robbery at Beckton DLR station are appealing for help to identify a teenager they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The incident took place at around 3.30pm on Wednesday 12 November, when a 14-year-old boy was confronted by three other boys at the station. Officers say the victim’s mobile phone was taken during the confrontation, and one of the suspects produced a knife and threatened him.

British Transport Police confirmed that two boys, aged 15 and 16, have since been arrested in connection with the robbery. Both have been released on bail while investigations continue.

As part of the ongoing inquiry, officers have now released an image of a teenager they believe may have information that could help establish what happened.
