Police Release Image After Knifepoint Robbery on Herne Hill Platform

Police are appealing for help to identify a man following a knifepoint robbery at Herne Hill railway station.

The incident took place at around 8pm on Thursday 12 February on the station platform. According to investigators, a man approached the victim before producing a knife during the confrontation.

Officers say the suspect threatened to stab the victim before stealing his bag during the robbery.

Detectives from British Transport Police have now released images of a man they believe may have information that could assist their enquiries. They are urging anyone who recognises the individual, or who witnessed the incident, to come forward.
