The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is preparing for increased ridership this Sunday, 14 December, as the Denver Broncos host the Green Bay Packers at 2:25 p.m. at Empower Field at Mile High. With the stadium located close to multiple bus stops and rail stations, public transit offers a convenient and safe way for fans to travel to and from the game.

Broncos supporters are encouraged to use RTD’s Next Ride trip planning tool. By entering “Broncos” as the destination, users can view all transit options from their current location to Empower Field, including train and bus routes with departure times.

Rail Service
RTD will provide light rail service on the D, E, and W lines to Empower Field at Mile High Station, along with A, B, G, and N lines serving Denver Union Station.

Special service notes for the day include:

  • The D Line is temporarily serving both Empower Field at Mile High Station and Denver Union Station through 3 January 2026.

  • E Line trains are operating every 30 minutes between Union Station and Southmoor Station and every 15 minutes between Southmoor and RidgeGate Parkway due to a non-RTD accident near Yale Station. Passengers will need to transfer at Southmoor Station to continue beyond that point.

  • Express bus shuttles will run from 12:30 p.m. until 45 minutes after the game between Southmoor Station (Gate A) and I-25-Broadway Station (Gate A3) to support E Line service.

  • The H Line is operating every 30 minutes between Florida and Southmoor stations.

Passengers are advised to allow extra time and prepare for large crowds, particularly after the game.

Bus Service
Several bus routes provide access to Empower Field, including Route 30 (South Federal Boulevard), Route 31 (North Federal Boulevard), and Routes 1, 15L, and 16. For easy connections to the D, E, or W lines at Denver Union Station, riders can also use the Flatiron Flyer or local routes 0, 9, 10, 15, 20, and 32.

Parking
RTD’s Park-n-Ride facilities offer convenient options for fans traveling to the game by public transit. A full list of Park-n-Rides across the metro area is available online.
