SSL Expands Kids Ride Free Program for the Holidays

SSL is giving families an extra reason to celebrate this holiday season by expanding its Kids Ride Free program to include all trains and all train times. From Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, through Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, up to three children aged 13 and under can ride any SSL train for free when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The promotion applies to every service, including weekends, holidays, off-peak hours, and even weekday rush-hour trains. This temporary expansion allows families to take advantage of school breaks, whether they are travelling for leisure, visiting friends and relatives, or simply enjoying a day out by train.

By opening up the program to all services, SSL aims to make holiday travel more affordable and accessible, encouraging families to experience the convenience and ease of train travel. With a limited window for the promotion, passengers are encouraged to plan ahead to ensure they can make the most of the free rides for children.
