The Dnipro‑Genichesk (to Zaporizhia) Route DLC for ZDSimulator was developed by the ZDSimulator Team in collaboration with DNEPR_UA and published by the ZDSimulator Team. It was released on 16 September 2025. The route is available for Windows and requires the base ZDSimulator game. There are no alternative console or non-PC ports for this DLC.

The route adds an electrified railway line across southern Ukraine, linking the city of Dnipro with Zaporizhia and other major stations. The initial playable section runs approximately 130 km, with plans to extend the route gradually until it reaches Henichesk, bringing the total length to around 342 km. The railway features a mix of double-track mainline sections and single-track segments, offering operational variety. Stations, platforms, signals, bridges, level crossings, depots, and urban and rural scenery are included, allowing for realistic passenger and freight operations on the existing section.

Promotion for the route focused on the Steam store page, which details the route length, electrification, supported traffic, and future expansion plans. There was no major external marketing campaign. The listing emphasizes compatibility with existing DC electric locomotives, support for both scenario and free-ride modes, and integration with the level editor and Steam Workshop for additional community content.

Reception is still developing as the DLC is new and has no Steam user reviews. Community discussions indicate cautious optimism, with players appreciating the addition of a southern Ukrainian route and the operational variety offered by single- and double-track sections. Some note that the southernmost portion is not yet complete, and further updates will be necessary to deliver the full route. Overall, the DLC appeals to simulation enthusiasts interested in realistic operations and regional rail networks.
