The Dnipro–Kharkiv (to Lozova) Route DLC was developed by the ZDSimulator Team together with contributors credited as DNEPR_UA and Вадим415600, and published by the ZDSimulator Team. It was released on 17 April 2025. The DLC is only available for the Windows version of the base game and requires ownership of ZDSimulator. There are no console or other-platform ports indicated.

This DLC adds a railway route connecting the city of Dnipro with Lozova, representing the first 180 km of a larger corridor that is intended eventually to reach Kharkiv. The line is fully electrified under 3 kV DC, and is designed to support a variety of traffic: fast intercity passenger trains, suburban EMUs, and heavy freight trains moving through industrial hubs. The route features realistic track profiles, signaling systems, infrastructure such as stations and junctions, and supports both dynamic passenger operations and freight hauling, offering players flexibility and a taste of eastern‑Ukraine rail operations.

Promotion for the DLC was handled through its store listing on the game’s platform, where key details are outlined: route length, electrification type, compatible traffic types, and the current available section from Dnipro to Lozova. As with many of ZDSimulator’s DLC releases, there was no broad external marketing campaign; instead, the developers relied on the existing community and the visibility of the store catalogue. The release came amidst a batch of other new routes and locomotives at the game’s launch on the platform, aiming to provide a solid foundation of content for users interested in realistic Ukrainian rail simulation.

Because the DLC is relatively new, there are no user reviews yet on its store page. From community discussion among rail‑simulation fans, reaction appears moderately positive. Players welcomed the addition of a key eastern‑Ukraine corridor and appreciated the mixture of passenger and freight potential. Some note that the full potential depends on further expansion toward Kharkiv and on availability of suitable rolling stock or community-made scenarios. For now, the route seems best suited to enthusiasts who enjoy realistic operation and exploring post‑Soviet rail networks, rather than casual players seeking casual or simplified gameplay.
