The Kyiv–Myrhorod Route DLC was developed and published by the ZDSimulator Team. It was released on 17 April 2025. The route DLC is available for the Windows version of the base game and requires ownership of ZDSimulator. There are no console or non-PC ports listed.

This DLC recreates the real‑world railway line connecting the capital city Kyiv to the city of Myrhorod, spanning a major east–west corridor in Ukraine. The route is fully electrified and includes detailed infrastructure: stations (including Kyiv’s main passenger station and those along the corridor), realistic track layout, signaling, catenary wiring, and varied scenery — from suburban outskirts to rural landscapes. It supports a variety of train operations: intercity and long-distance passenger trains, suburban services, and freight trains, giving players a flexible simulation experience that reflects real railway traffic on this corridor.

Promotion of the DLC was done via the official store listing when the base game launched on Steam. The listing describes the route’s major stations, electrification, traffic types (passenger and freight), and highlights support for scenarios, free‑ride mode, and compatibility with existing rolling stock. This release was part of an initial wave of DLC content intended to give players a broad selection of Ukrainian routes and rolling stock from the outset. No major external marketing push or large advertising campaign accompanied the launch beyond the launch announcement on Steam and visibility within the existing community.

Reception to date remains modest. The DLC has only a handful of user reviews on Steam, too few for a firm consensus. Among community forums and discussion spaces for ZDSimulator, interest appears generally positive: many players appreciate having a full corridor linking Kyiv to Myrhorod, and value the realistic infrastructure and diverse operation modes. Some caution that maximal enjoyment depends on having compatible locomotives and well-structured scenarios or timetables — otherwise the line can feel underutilized. Overall, Kyiv–Myrhorod seems likely to appeal most to dedicated simulation fans who enjoy authentic Ukrainian rail routes and a variety of traffic types.
