ZDSimulator: Lozova-Henichesk Route

The Lozova–Henichesk Route DLC for ZDSimulator was developed by the ZDSimulator Team in collaboration with DNEPR_UA, and published by the ZDSimulator Team. It was released on 27 January 2026 as an expansion to the core ZDSimulator railway simulation experience. This add-on requires ownership of the base ZDSimulator game and extends the playable network with a newly detailed section of real Ukrainian rail infrastructure, continuing the project’s focus on authentic routes and locomotives.

This DLC adds an 184 km electrified line stretching from Lozova through Zaporizhzhia toward Henichesk, complete with fully modelled stations, industrial zones and steppe landscapes. Players can operate both freight and passenger services on this DC-powered section using a range of authentic rolling stock, including VL11m and 2EL4 freight locomotives, ChS2k and ChS7 passenger locomotives, and ED4m and ED2t suburban EMUs. The route is presented with accurate signaling, speed profiles and terrain features, and is planned to continue expanding toward Henichesk over time, offering more content and a wider operational canvas.

Promotion for the Lozova–Henichesk Route DLC has largely happened through ZDSimulator’s existing community channels rather than through broad external marketing. Announcements about the route’s release were shared on social media and within the ZDSimulator community hub, highlighting the new section’s features and potential for extended gameplay. This pattern follows the usual approach for ZDSimulator expansions, where engagement with railway simulation enthusiasts and existing fans is prioritised over mass advertising, and where previews and discussions are often driven by the community rather than by formal press campaigns.

As of now there are no user reviews on the platform to provide a formal overall rating for the route’s reception.
