Washington Union Station and New York Penn Station are getting a festive makeover this holiday season, transforming into vibrant destinations for travelers and visitors alike.

At Washington Union Station, over 40 vendors will set up shop from Wednesday, Dec. 17 through Saturday, Dec. 20, in both the Main Hall and East Hall. Meanwhile, New York Penn Station will host 15 vendors from Wednesday, Dec. 10 through Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Amtrak Rotunda. Shoppers can browse a diverse selection of goods from local artisans and small businesses, including candles, body butters, soaps, essential oils, contemporary and vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, vintage books and records, and artisanal baked goods. Collectibles, antiques, art, and Amtrak merchandise will also be available.

Adding to the holiday spirit, The Stage at Union Station, presented by the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation in partnership with Sing for Hope, will host live performances throughout December. Local musicians will perform holiday classics in a free weekly concert series, creating a festive soundtrack for commuters and visitors during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

Amtrak is emphasizing accessibility and community in its holiday programming, highlighting local talent and small businesses while offering family-friendly entertainment free of charge. The events aim to bring holiday cheer to passengers and the wider community, making travel through these iconic stations a festive experience.
