Appeal launched over reported upskirting incident on London Underground
Detectives have issued a public appeal after an alleged upskirting incident on a London Underground train, releasing an image of a man they want to trace as part of the investigation.
The incident is reported to have taken place at around 5.45pm on Saturday 13 December 2025 on a Victoria Line service heading towards Tottenham Hale. According to police, the victim was made aware of what had happened by another passenger while the train was approaching Finsbury Park.
British Transport Police said a man is alleged to have taken photographs up the woman’s skirt without her consent. Officers are now seeking to identify the individual shown in the released image, believing he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
Detectives are urging anyone who recognises the man, or who may have witnessed the incident, to come forward. Information can be provided to British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 161 of 13 December.
