Greater Anglia has held a special event to celebrate International Men’s Day, bringing colleagues together at Norwich station on Wednesday 19 November to reflect on topics including neurodiversity, physical health and financial confidence.

The gathering, now in its second year, attracted around fifty members of staff. Attendees took part in a series of speaker-led sessions and explored a selection of information stalls centred on wellbeing, community engagement and support services available across the company.

Gemma Gayfer, Greater Anglia’s Occupational Health and Wellbeing Manager, said:

“We were delighted with the response to this year’s event and are extremely grateful to our inspiring speakers and everyone who took the time to attend. With a significant proportion of our workforce made up of men, it is vital that they feel seen, supported, and empowered to talk openly about wellbeing or neurodiversity. Creating a space where colleagues can be their authentic selves is central to our approach.”

The event rounded off with a presentation by financial education specialists Munny, offering practical advice on everyday budgeting, long-term planning and investment awareness.

Greater Anglia says its International Men’s Day activities support the company’s wider commitment to diversity and inclusion, helping to build an open, equitable workplace where all colleagues feel able to thrive.
