Image Released After Woman Sexually Assaulted on Leeds to Manchester Train

British Transport Police have issued an image of a man they wish to trace as part of an investigation into a sexual assault on board a train.

The incident occurred at around 10.45pm on Thursday 1 January, when a woman was assaulted after boarding a service travelling from Leeds to Manchester Airport. She had been searching for a seat at the time of the attack.

Detectives say the man shown in the released image may hold information that could assist their enquiries and are urging the public to come forward if they recognise him.
