All lines between Doncaster and York / Selby are currently closed as emergency services respond to an incident, causing widespread disruption across the rail network. Trains on affected routes may be cancelled, delayed by up to an hour, or revised, with major disruption expected until at least 18:15.

The closures are affecting multiple operators, including CrossCountry, Grand Central, Hull Trains, LNER, and Lumo. Key routes impacted include CrossCountry services between Birmingham New Street, Reading, and Newcastle, as well as Reading to York. Grand Central trains between London Kings Cross and Sunderland are also affected, along with LNER services to York, Hull, Middlesbrough, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen. Doncaster station is currently not being served by CrossCountry trains.

Hull Trains is diverting services via Goole, meaning Howden and Selby will not be served. LNER is arranging rail replacement transport between Doncaster and York, and passengers are advised to check with station staff for details. CrossCountry is also diverting some services between Sheffield and York. Other operators have not provided updates on alternative travel arrangements.

Passengers are advised to check travel plans, allow extra time for journeys, and follow guidance from station staff while emergency operations continue.
