Officers appeal for information following Preston station brawl
British Transport Police have issued CCTV images as part of an appeal to identify several men who may hold key information about a disturbance at Preston railway station earlier this month. The incident unfolded shortly before 10pm on Saturday 11 October, when a fight erupted between a group of people on the station concourse.
According to investigators, officers were on scene within half a minute of the altercation breaking out. Their swift response led to the arrest of four men — aged 57, 31, 24 and 21 — all from Blackpool. Each was detained on suspicion of affray and later released on bail as enquiries continue.
Detectives are now seeking the public’s help to identify the individuals captured in the released images, believing they may be able to assist with establishing the full circumstances surrounding the confrontation. The appeal forms part of ongoing efforts to piece together what led to the violence and who else may have been involved.
