Passengers Asked to Claim Property Left on Huntingdon Train After Major Incident
British Transport Police (BTP) are working to return property left on a train involved in a major incident in Huntingdon last week.
Anyone who left belongings on the train is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 153 of 2 November. Passengers should provide their carriage and seat number along with a detailed description of the items.
Appointments will then be arranged for property collection in person at BTP offices in Peterborough or London. The collection location will be confirmed when the appointment is scheduled. Officers note that, while they are aiming to complete the process promptly, they cannot yet confirm exact appointment times.
Items cannot be posted, and property will only be returned in person during a scheduled appointment. BTP thanked passengers for their patience and understanding while the process is carried out.
