Police Release CCTV After Assault on Train Between Maidstone and Cuxton
British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images as part of an investigation into an assault on a train travelling from Maidstone Barracks to Cuxton. The incident occurred on Friday 14 November at around 11.20pm on the Tonbridge to Gillingham service.
The altercation involved two men and two women. During the fight, one man was placed in a chokehold while the other was struck over the head with a bottle, resulting in a fractured nose.
Officers believe that the individuals captured in the CCTV images may have information that could assist the ongoing investigation.
Anyone who recognises the people in the images, or has relevant information, is urged to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 853 of 14 November. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
