Polar Express Returns to London Euston for Festive Family Journeys
Families travelling through London Euston this December will once again have the chance to step aboard a festive railway adventure, as THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride returns to the station. After last year’s sell-out debut, the charter service is set to recreate the atmosphere of the much-loved Christmas film, offering an immersive experience across a limited run of fourteen dates between 29 November and 23 December.
The event brings the story of The Polar Express to life through live musical performances, theatrical scenes and a warm serving of hot chocolate accompanied by a sweet treat. Passengers will be invited to settle into the festive setting as the journey unfolds, with Santa expected to make a special appearance to greet families on board.
London Euston, which welcomed the attraction for the first time in 2024, is preparing for another busy month as visitors flock to the station for the seasonal experience. Organisers say the return is driven by strong demand and the popularity of last year’s launch.
Amanda Webster-Uz, head of station operations at London Euston, said:
“We’re very excited to welcome The Polar Express back to Euston station this year. It’s a fantastic experience that really captures the spirit of Christmas! With Euston expected to be busy throughout December and the Christmas period, we’d like to urge people to plan their journeys in advance and take care when travelling through the station.”
Mark Haynes, marketing manager for PNP Events, said:
“We’re thrilled to be bringing The Polar Express™ Train Ride back to London, sharing the timeless message of belief and the magic of Christmas with families once again. Each year, the experience creates moments of pure wonder, and we’re excited to welcome guests aboard for a festive journey that inspires joy, togetherness, and a renewed sense of Christmas spirit. Once again, we’d like to thank the team at Network Rail and Euston station for welcoming us back as we work together to bring this cherished Christmas tradition to life for even more families.”
