Officers are appealing for help to identify a man following an alleged assault involving two young children at a west London Underground station.

The incident took place at around 4pm on Thursday 11 December at White City station. Police say a woman was with two young children when a man entered the station and kicked both children, causing them to fall to the ground.

After the incident, the man is reported to have walked further into the station before boarding an eastbound Central line train. While neither child was physically injured, officers say both were left distressed and the woman was badly shaken by what happened.

An image has now been released as part of the investigation, with officers believing the man pictured may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the man, or who has information that could help police, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 472 of 11 December.
