Police release image after upskirting incident at King’s Cross St Pancras

Detectives have released an image as part of an investigation into an upskirting incident at King’s Cross St Pancras Underground station.

The incident took place at around 6.15pm on Wednesday 11 March on an escalator serving the Victoria line. A woman was targeted by a man standing behind her while she was travelling through the station.

The situation was challenged by another passenger at the time, prompting the man to apologise before leaving the scene.

Officers from the British Transport Police believe the individual shown in the released image may be able to assist with their enquiries and are appealing for the public’s help in identifying him.

Anyone who recognises the man is urged to contact police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 594 of 11 March. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
