Police Release Images After Passenger Headbutted on Guildford Train Service

British Transport Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to after an assault on board a train travelling from Woking to Guildford.

The incident took place at around 10.10pm on Tuesday 16 December. During the journey, a man headbutted another passenger, leaving the victim with cuts to his forehead.

After the altercation, the suspect left the train at Guildford station. He then ran across the tracks and climbed over a fence before leaving the area.

Officers believe the man shown in the released images may hold information that could assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him is urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 806 of 16 December. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
