Trains Suspended Amid Emergency Incident Between Moor Street and Solihull
Rail services between Birmingham Moor Street and Solihull have been suspended as emergency services respond to an incident on the line. To ensure crews can work safely, no trains are currently able to pass through the affected section.
Passengers are being warned to expect significant disruption, with delays, cancellations and service alterations likely. Major disruption is forecast to continue until at least 16:30.
Chiltern Railways has put ticket acceptance in place across a number of alternative operators and routes to help customers complete their journeys. Meanwhile, West Midlands Railway has arranged initial ticket acceptance on a range of local bus services and says that rail replacement transport has now been arranged to run between Birmingham Moor Street and Dorridge calling at Solihull in both directions..
Travellers are advised that any ticket acceptance or alternative arrangements could be withdrawn at short notice. Customers should check with their chosen operator before setting out.
