Police are appealing for help to locate a missing teenager who was last seen in Maidstone late on Tuesday evening. Officers say 14-year-old Maisie Cornish was seen at Maidstone railway station at around 11pm on December 30, where it is believed she may have boarded a train towards London.

Maisie is described as being around 5ft 1in tall, with straight blonde hair and blue eyes. When last seen, she is thought to have been wearing a grey tracksuit, a black bodywarmer and light brown New Balance trainers.

Concern is growing for her welfare, and officers are urging members of the public to remain vigilant. Anyone who may have seen Maisie, or who has information that could help trace her movements, is being asked to come forward.

Police have stressed that if anyone has urgent or critical information about Maisie’s whereabouts, they should call 999 immediately. Other information can be passed to Kent Police by calling 101 or using the live chat service on the force’s website, quoting reference 31-0452.

Officers continue to carry out enquiries and are asking people across Kent and London to check CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage that may assist the search.
