Signalling failure shuts part of Mildmay line, causing day-long disruption
A signalling failure on the railway between Camden Road and Willesden Junction has forced the suspension of part of the Mildmay line, leading to widespread disruption for passengers.
Services operating between Stratford in east London and destinations including Richmond and Clapham Junction are being affected, with some trains cancelled altogether while others are running late or operating on amended routes.
The problem is expected to continue through to the close of service, with no immediate resolution confirmed.
Passengers are being advised that their rail tickets will be accepted on London Buses without additional charge, provided they travel by a reasonable route.
However, travellers are warned that ticket acceptance arrangements can be altered at short notice and should be checked with the relevant operator before setting off.
