CCTV Appeal After Woman Assaulted at West Hampstead Station

British Transport Police have issued an appeal after a woman was assaulted at a North London railway station, releasing CCTV images of a man officers want to identify.

The incident is reported to have taken place at about 4.40pm on Sunday 30 November, while the woman was standing on the platform at West Hampstead station. Officers said a man approached her and carried out the assault before she managed to push him away.

The suspect then fled the scene, running along the platform. Investigators believe the man captured in the released images may be able to assist with their enquiries and are urging the public to come forward.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2500147677. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
