Person Injured on Tracks at Huntingdon Railway Station
A person has been taken to hospital following an incident on the tracks at Huntingdon railway station on the morning of December 16.
British Transport Police confirmed officers were called at around 11.25am after reports of a casualty. Paramedics also attended, and the individual was transported to hospital. No details have been released regarding the severity of their injuries.
The force said the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
The event caused widespread disruption across the network, with all lines between Peterborough and Hitchin blocked for approximately an hour. The line reopened at 12.30pm, though residual delays continued throughout the afternoon and into the early evening.
