Police release image in search for man over sexual assault on Victoria Line

British Transport Police are appealing for help to identify a man in connection with a sexual assault on a Victoria Line train.

The incident occurred at around 11.15pm on Tuesday 21 October. Officers say a 22-year-old woman was on the platform at Seven Sisters Underground station when she was approached by a man who tried to speak to her. She boarded a southbound train, and the man followed, sitting opposite her before sexually assaulting her shortly afterwards.

Police believe the man pictured may have information that could assist their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to text British Transport Police on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 811 of 21 October. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
