Man Stabbed During Altercation on Chicago Transit Blue Line Train
A man was hospitalized Sunday morning after being stabbed during a confrontation on a CTA Blue Line train near the Loop. The incident took place around 6 a.m. on a train in the 500 block of North Milwaukee Avenue.
Chicago police reported that the 32-year-old victim became involved in a verbal dispute with another passenger while onboard. The situation escalated when the other individual drew a knife and slashed the victim, leaving a cut on his hand.
The injured man was transported to a nearby hospital, where officials confirmed he was in good condition.
Authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the stabbing. Area Five detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the altercation.
